The Cash Manager oversees the company"s cash activity across all lines of business for a large company generating $5B in annualized revenue. This includes the receipt, posting, balancing and reporting of all payment types, both private and insurance, across channels and systems. Involved with acquisition integration, supervises and develops staff, and assists with special projects as required.
Monitor and reconcile cash balances and generate cash reporting for all company system
Supervise cash team in 2 locations ensuring associate growth and development as well as quality control
Assist with internal and external audit requests related to cash activity
Suggest opportunities to enhance the company"s payment channel offerings and minimization of banking fees
Keep abreast of latest banking technology to ensure efficiencies and mitigate errors
Suggest improvements to policies and procedures pertaining to cash activity
Involved with acquisition integration efforts involving bank account services and structure
Coordinate flow of communication between functional areas and treasury team as it relates to cash activity
Work closely with Treasury Operations Manager to optimize cash operations and reporting structure and process
Ensure cash management system processes are SOX compliant
Assist in other special projects as required
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree (B. A. or B. S.) in Accounting of Finance from four-year college or university
Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
MS Office experience required and PeopleSoft experience preferred
